THE GREAT AMERICAN ECLIPSE
Members of the ThirdWall Team didn’t want to miss the first continental total solar eclipse visible only in the United States. So, a pizza & ice cream afternoon was arranged in a corner of their headquarter’s parking lot, with a tent and solar glasses provided, to witness a once in a lifetime event. Despite only being able to view an maximum 81% eclipse in the Washington area at 2:43 PM, it was exciting to watch the movement of the moon across the sun and experience the diminishing sunlight as a result.
The trajectory of the total eclipse took if from Oregon across the country through South Carolina. It was a truly special occasion for the group to get together for a short time away from the routine of the business day.
