Plan your Night Out

Because a good scout is always prepared

We believe that great theatre is for everyone. You don't need to be a theatrical aficionado to enjoy a Third Wall show, but if you're curious about what to expect, here is a quick guide to make your evening more enjoyable.

Dining Out

Dinner and a play go great together. Many of Ottawa’s finest restaurants are within walking distance of our venues. There are restaurants and pubs for all tastes and budgets. Why not try The Courtyard Restaurant, our preferred restaurant.

What time should I make a reservation for?

All restaurants vary with regards to service and preparation time. We suggest that you call ahead to your restaurant of choice and tell them you have tickets to a show and the time and venue of the show. They will be able to properly reserve your table.”

How do I get to the theatre?

Both of our venues are right smack dab in the middle of downtown Ottawa this year, so you'll have no problem getting there. There is also plenty of available parking around both venues.

What time should I arrive at the theatre?

The studio opens one hour before curtain, and refreshments are available at a reasonable price. We recommend getting to the theatre around a half hour prior to curtain, just to make sure you have enough time to mingle, get a program and a drink.

After the Show

After the show is a pretty informal time. Sometimes you'll get a chance to meet the actors and congratulate them, or you can mingle with other audience members and talk about the show. Just remember that we lock up at 11:00, so you don't have to go home, but you can't stay there.

There are a number of late-night establishments nearby if you're not quite ready for bed.
