Third Wall Theatre Company is managed by two governing bodies: the staff, who are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the company, and the board of directors, who are responsible for the major decisions of the company.
James graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Newfoundland's Memorial University in 1998. Since then, he has worked professionally with many companies including the St. Lawrence Stage Company in Brockville, Ont. and Theatre By the Bay in Newfoundland. He has played many roles in Ottawa as well, including Banquo in MacBeth, Mathieu in Hotel Paradiso, and John Hinckley Jr. in a recent production of Stephen Sondhiem's Assassins.
As artistic director, James is responsible for the selection of the season, and for all the artistic and aesthetic decisions faced by the company. Additionally, James is responsible for the business functions of the company such as the hiring of part-time staff and company development. The artistic director is the head of the executive, and an ex-officio member of the board of directors.

Arden comes from a theatre household so comes by her love naturally. She has been our volunteer box office and front of house manager since Mother Courage in 2003. She is the voice of the office and keeps things running smoothly.
As an incorporated not-for-profit organization, Third Wall is governed by an elected Board of Directors, who are responsible for the major choices faced by the company, as well as the legal and political responsibilities.
The Board of Directors consists of five members, and meets on a regular basis to discuss budgetary issues, the status of the company and to solidify a vision for the future. The board is responsible for the hiring of the Executive, as well as financial reporting.
